Realistically I'll be putting them through a tubescreamer-esque pedal with the strat, which has texas style pickups, and would be dialing in classic rock/ Texas blues/ crunch tones, but I do play clean too and that would have to be taken into consideration as well. The Bassbreaker seems very versatile and gets some really nice crunch tones, the Vox has it's characteristic tone, lovely midrange and chime, and the Origin is supposed to get some really nice classic rock tones. I'm having a hard time deciding between these 3 as they're all kinda similar ( Maybe not the Vox as much) and from what I've heard of the amps they all sound pretty good and are in and around the same price range. I use my strat most of the time and live on the neck pickup, and would listen to and try to emulate (badly) artists such as Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, a lot of John Mayer, Mark Knopfler, SRV, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Clapton etc. At the moment I have a Vox Valvetronix and while it does the job well enough I'm looking to find my sound and I think I know what I like in general. I've been looking to upgrade my amp for a while and have narrowed my selection down to these 3.
